Quick Measuring Tip: Take a similar item of your own clothing and lay it flat; smooth it out and make sure it is buttoned or zipped. Take a tape measure and measure the chest, shoulders, waist, sleeve length (if necessary) straight across, making sure the tape measure is tight from side to side or top to bottom (seam to seam). *If you're measuring a jacket or shirt, to get the chest measurement, measure from the outside edge of the armpit to the opposite outside edge of the armpit.* Shoulder measurements are taken straight across the front of the shoulders from seam to seam. If measuring pants or jeans, also measure the inseam (from slightly above the crotch, down inside the leg, to the very edge of the hem). Write these measurements down, then multiply them by 2 (i.e. if the chest measures 21" from armpit to armpit, then it's actually a 42"). Compare them to the item(s) you're interested in on our site and voila! You'll know if it will work for you. You can always measure yourself, but the clothing method works best as that is how our measurements are taken.
