Item #obd39, Roaring 20s Teal Burnt Out Velvet Cloche Hat Gorgeous, hard to find original Roaring 20s cloche in a rare shade of teal with silk and 'burnt out' velvet design Ca. 1920s, no label Daisy like floral design throughout with matching teal satin ribbon trim and intricating ribbon layering vertically down the back High crown and short ribbed brim, lined in black cloth Measures 8" high from brim to top of crown; just under 20" interior circumference (will fit small heads best as it is supposed to sit low and fitted to the head) In very good condition for its age; was much loved in a former life and does have fade especially the ribbon around the brim and along the back edge of the hat. There is definite fabric loss along the left side (approx 5-6" in length) and inside the brim. The ribbon around the brim could be replaced and the hat is sturdy and very wearable.
