Item #p002, Rare Antique 1910s 1920s Travel Luggage Label, Kobe Japan

  • Wonderful, original antique luggage label from an estate ca. 1910s, 1920s

  • Reads 'The Oriental Hotel' and is a hard to find round, etched glossy paper
  • Label is in like new, UNUSED condition and measures 3-1/2" in circumference
  • No stains, dog earing, etc. graphics are still bright! Photo is accurate Will be shipped extra carefully in a padded envelope with cardboard backing.

Item #p004, Antique 1910s 1920s Travel Luggage Label, Cairo Egypt

  • Original art nouveau antique luggage label from an estate ca. 1910s, 1920s

  • Reads The Continental Savoy, Cairo Egypt' with a full moon and mosque/building tops in the smoky background
  • Label is in like new, UNUSED condition and measures a 3-1/2" wide by 5" high
  • No stains, dog earing, etc. notice the fabulous art nouveau lettering style and the unusual colorations! Photo is accurate - rare find!
  • Will be shipped extra carefully in a padded envelope with cardboard backing.

Item #p006, Antique Ellen Clapsaddle Dutch Boy Valentine Postcard

  • Adorable Dutch boy sending his Valentine's greetings on this turn of the century (20th century) postcard with graphics by the legendary Ellen Clapsaddle (1863 - 1934)

  • Ca. 1908, 1910, card has been used but is in very good condition
  • Reads 'Loving thoughts for my Valentine' and in the center of the tiny heart reads 'The gift is small but love is all' with a poem at the bottom center
  • In very good condition, signed near the boy's left leg; definite age yellowing but no foxing or tears. Some markings near the bottom front left hand corner (appear to be from postage machine or )
  • So very Clapsaddle! Wonderful framed or add to a collection...
  • Ellen Clapsaddle was a prolific artist and poet who spend her entire life designing postcards throughout the early 1900s; she is especially known for her chubby cheeked children's designs. Her work is very collectible.

  • Beautiful Irish lass in flowing green Victorian gown shares her St. Patrick's Day greetings on this turn of the century (20th century) postcard with graphics by the legendary Ellen Clapsaddle (1863 - 1934)

  • Ca. 1910/1911, card has been used but is in very good to fine condition; postmark on back of card is 1911
  • Reads 'Wishing you a happy St. Patrick's Day', card is signed in the bottom right hand corner
  • No foxing, tears or age yellowing; light wear to the gold leafing around the edges (very faint) printed in New York or Berlin
  • So very Clapsaddle! Wonderful framed or add to a collection...

Item #p008, Gorgeous Antique Raphael Tuck & Sons Religious Easter Postcard

  • Beautiful religious woman in a flowing Grecian gown adorns the front of this embossed turn of the century (20th century) postcard with graphics by the legendary Raphael Tuck & Sons

  • Ca. 1910/1911, card is in unused condition and printed in Germany
  • Reads 'a Happy Easter' and has both the Tuck easel logo and signature on the backside
  • No foxing, tears or age yellowing; very minor amount of wear to the upper left hand corner and someone wrote 'Dear Mother' in pencil on the bottom front edge. It is very faint and could be removed although we left as is.
  • Very collectible Tuck name and Easter design; would be beautiful framed (or pair it with the other even more gorgeous card below!)
  • Raphael Tuck is known for their amazingly beautiful Victorian designed postcards, pictures & chromolithographs printed mostly in Germany but were based in London. The name is highly collectible and their cupid and cherub designs are especially sought after.

  • Amazing and rare embossed turn of the century (20th century) religious Easter postcard with graphics by the legendary Raphael Tuck & Sons

  • Ca. 1910/1912, card is in used (but unmailed) condition and printed in England; it is from the 'Oilette' line of Tuck cards and called 'Faith'
  • Bears both the Tuck easel logo and signature on the backside
  • The ladies' robe is a raised, slightly sparkling relief and there is an Easter poem in lavender ink
  • In excellent/fine condition with no foxing, tears or age yellowing; very minor amount of wear to the upper right hand corner
  • Very collectible Tuck name and Easter design; would be beautiful framed
